COVID-19 was declared a global pandemic by the World Health Organisation and has seen the world on its toes trying to find a cure for this virus. As scientists have been busy trying to find a cure for the Pandemic, countries around the world had to shut their boarders to curb the spread of Corona Virus, this has led to total shut downs of economies, leading to people being lock down in their own homes, some loosing their jobs and those who did not have any means of income suffer more in isolation. Ashford BME Association during these difficult times still are up and running, helping many people from all backgrounds. As an organisation ABME Association has donated food packages and toiletries to the Salvation Army and Fare Share in Ashford, also food packages to South Africa, Zimbabwe, Nigeria and Sierra Leon to help the less privileged of our societies through our COVID-19-Corona Virus Drive.
Please feel free to donate by clicking on the donate link on our navigation and kindly make a donation to our projects that are also aimed at finding solutions and ideas of preserving as well as preventing the BAME communities who are the most affected in this difficult time. We ask for your hand, your funds, whatever little you can give can go a long way in enhancing projects and continue with the distribution of these food parcels to those of our communities that need the most.
