Ashford BME Association comprises of a small team of volunteers who are dedicated at supporting the BME and wider community.
Ashford BME Association is an association whose vision is to share, inspire and empower communities to encourage community cohesion, promote equality and diversity, reduce stigma and isolation. Ashford BME Association works to ensure that marginalised communities have a voice around social and health issues that affect them and make a big impact on their lives and how they engage with the wider community.
The aim of Ashford BME (Black and minority ethnic) Association is to target the BAME (Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic) community and support to break down barriers, reduce social isolation, increase community integration, remove stigma and improve services for all age groups. We work with individuals and groups from the BAME and wider community to improve their health and well-being, enhance social, cultural and economic inclusion and support community cohesion.
