Maria Olukoya is the CEO and Chair of the organisation. She is a qualified Wellbeing Practitioner for children and young people and has a background in Public Health and Wellbeing . She is passionate about community cohesion, empowerment, health promotion and reducing stigma and discrimination within the community. She is keen to empower communities through various health intervention programmes and health activities. On her spare time Maria enjoys watching movies, cooking and swimming.
Chidi Umezurike has served as a Trustee with the Ashford BME association since 2016. He is an experienced Solicitor and Managing Director of CK Law Solicitors. Chidi has specialised in Criminal Defence work and has a wide ranging expertise ranging from simple to complex and serious cases. He is passionate about ensuring justice is upheld as well as ensuring that the less privileged are well represented. He endeavours to motivate the next generations towards being achievers and all round success. He is a strong advocate for mentoring people.

Caroline Moyo serves as one of the Trustees since 2016. She is the organisation's Secretary and Community engagement officer. She is a qualified Electronic service Technician. On her spare time she volunteers for Redcross, enjoys Touring, Gospel music, Playing netball and Watching Documentaries
Eric Chikara is one of our Trustees. He has served as an Ashford BME Association Trustee since February 2016. He serves the organisation as a Treasurer. He is a qualified Registered Nurse since 2005 and specialises in Learning Disability/ ADHD. When Eric is not in work he enjoys travelling, watching movies and playing music and sports.
David Olise has served as an Ashford BME Association Trustee since 2016. He is a Relationship/Project Engagement Manager with Prince 2 & ITIL qualifications coupled with over 10 years’ experience in IT, Financial Services, Compliance, Telecommunications and Sales & Marketing. He has experience of working with senior management up to Vice President (VP) level in addition to extensive stakeholder management. Within his remit of providing support to projects, he is competent in business partnering with project and operational teams, acting as key support in project resourcing and delivery within stated scope and timeline. He applies this to his position as a trustee in Ashford BME Association.
On his spare time, David runs a Christian online youth forum ‘The youth Project’ with a key focus to Connect, build and inspire young people.
